First anthropic taketh, then they giveth back

Recently I was banned by Anthopic for zero reason, with the following blurb:

I then needed to log into the portal and write them a message to get put in a queue to get my account reinstated. I put very little effort into the message. It essentially said “I have no idea why you have done this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯”.

Lo and behold, over a week later (!!!) I get a message saying the account has been reinstated, again with no reason as to why:

It is hard to scale as fast as Anthropic have, inevitably bad customer and dev experience will creep in a bit. The problem is that I moved on in the meanwhile to using open-weight models through opencode.ai, which now has access to glm 5.2 and now kimi 3 even on the go tier, which are fine for most things you don’t want the big frontier grunt (and prices) for.
